When the raid composition isn’t specifically tailored to facilitate a Swiftmend Druid, Moonglow takes over. Because your raid compositions don’t permit the willy-nilly usage of a Swiftmend druid, you are convinced that Swiftmend is just worse.ĭoes that seem reasonable to you? Sorry if I’m making assumptions here lolĮdit: In effect, the raid composition must CATER to Swiftmend to make Swiftmend work. Thus, because I have only seen “ideal” raid situations, I am convinced Swiftmend is just better. The Adaptive Swarm is a former Necrolord Covenant. However, if a Druid had a choice between Moonglow in its ideal situation and Swiftmend in its ideal situation (i.e., as Swiftmend, you are the only druid using Rejuv), Swiftmend would be better. Balance Druids will be given plenty of options to come up with new and original builds in Dragonflight. It makes Druids the best priest-like healer that they can be–but, of course, they aren’t as good as a Priest. This is the optimal talent choice when a Druid is just “another raid healer”. To accomplish this, Druids in “uncontrolled” raid compositions will take Moonglow and do only direct healing so they can fit the healing profile they are assigned. As such, their healing profile must be similar to a Priest healer, etc. In a lot of raid environments, you are taking a Druid healer instead of a Priest or Paladin/Shaman healer. You know what–I think I figured it all out.
